About The Doctor
Dr. Jonathan Golub has been in practice for over 30 years. After presiding over a technique club and assisting in technique classes while in chiropractic school, Dr. Golub became a certified seminar instructor, teaching and testing other doctors and chiropractic students in the instrument adjusting technique he currently utilizes. He taught on the seminar circuit for 12 years.
During this time, Dr. Golub practiced in upstate New York for two years, then relocated back to Long Island, the area in which he grew up. He opened his own private practice in Seaford, New York and practiced at the same location since 1995. In 2015, he relocated to Bellmore, 2.5 miles from the Seaford location.
Community involvement has always been important to Dr. Golub. He served as president of the Seaford Chamber of Commerce for two consecutive terms, as well as serving as a Nassau County Auxiliary Police Officer for 10 years. In 2001 he was recognized by the Nassau County Chamber of Commerce as Small Business Person of the Year for Seaford. He also was awarded Officer of the Year for two consecutive years by the Seaford Unit of the Nassau County Auxiliary Police, while receiving several awards for meritorious service.
The term "doctor" literally means "teacher". Most chiropractors take special care to teach their patients about health, their conditions, and chiropractic care. In addition to teaching chiropractic technique to other doctors, Dr. Golub has always enjoyed teaching his patients. He has lectured to classes at Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine, as well as been a guest lecturer at local clubs, organizations, libraries and industries.
Dr. Golub expanded his love of teaching formally to the classroom and became certified as a New York State teacher. He has taught Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, AP Environmental Science, and Health at the high school level, as well as Life Science and General Science in middle school.
Dr. Golub is married and lives in Suffolk County.
